Assassin
The sound of my boots echo of the stone walls of the gothic church...
I stride slowly with purpose...
I move through the shadows..
A black on black image in the dead of night
I move swiftly...
I see my prey...
The lone cleric who has tarnished all who walk the path...
I crouch low and speed towards him removing the long obisdian dagger from the folds of my coat...
I race up behind him and slam the blade between his ribs and up into his heart...
I can feel his life begin to ebb away through the blade....
I twist the dagger violently and rip it out of his side at a sharp angle causing blood to spray onto the floor
the cleric falls as a pool of blood spreads across the floor...
a smile flashes in the dark for an instant
the midnight bell tolls
and all that is left is death and shadow

i was trying to write a story and thinking about the game, "Assassins creed" and i kinda thought about the news, " cases of child molestation by catholic priests" actually going through court etc...so yeah... i kinda thought maybe this priest would die for torturing a child when he is supposed to be God's messenger. anyway. hope yall like it. its okay if you dont

Anyways, it was a lovely piece but I do so wish there could've been some... purpose? for his assasination.
Umm either a more clear and in depth look at the assasin himself. It he truly apathetic or is he wrought with pain or is he just giddy with the high of the kill? this could many ways I hope you know...
